South American Leg (Jan 28th to May 30th)

A Rough Idea

I am thankful and amazed at how many of you have checked in from time to time.
The feedback has been very helpful, both the praise for what you like and the constructive criticism.

In general people like the pictures and that makes me happy to share. "Food shots" get mixed reviews, with some readers very enthusiastic and others happier with fewer. The most common theme is that you have expressed a desire to hear more of what is “actually happening” on the trip and a little less of a “travel log”. So I will include more of the “gritty details” and scale back some of the guide perspective. Buckle your seatbelts, because we’re going to ratchet up the commentary all the way to PG-13. Haaa…

The general idea for this part of the world trip is to slow the speed a little and dive deeper.
Instead of a break-neck pace to hit all 17 countries, 7 will have to do for now.
